The Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court Rules that the Ban on Gay Marriage Unconstitutional

The Western Massachusetts LGBT Political Alliance applauds the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court's ruling that prohibiting same-sex civil marriage is unconstitutional.  This is a huge step forward in the battle for LGBT equality.   The Alliance will be carefully monitoring the Massachusetts legislature over the next 180 days as they decide how to implement this decision.  This is a time to celebrate justice and a time to prepare ourselves for national outcry this historic decision will provoke among those who oppose LGBT equality.  This is a time for increased activism and involvment in the political process as we meet the challenges sure to come.  We invite everyone committed to LGBT equality to join us.
