Mission Statement
The Alliance is a Western Massachusetts, defined as Hampshire, Hampden, Franklin, and Berkshire counties, non-partisan organization formed to promote and secure full civil rights for lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, and transgender people. Our goals are to increase awareness about lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) issues and their connections to other progressive issues among the general public, elected officials, candidates, and the media, and to encourage participation in the political process.
