The following state legislators from Western Massachusetts voted to amend the state constitution to ban same-sex marriage in the state during the Constitutional Convention in March. The legislature will vote a second time in 2005 on this proposed amendment. If it is passed again, the proposal will go to the voters in 2006 to decide whether or not same-sex couples have the right to marry. All of these legislators are running for re-election in November. Let your legislature know you will hold them accountable for their votes.
