Let's face it. Some of the best screenplays ever written have yet to be seenon the silver screen. So, in order to introduce her award-winning romanticcomedy to the public while she waits for her big break in Hollywood, writerand editor Tzivia Gover has organized a reading of her screenplay, TOTHE CHAPEL: A COMEDY OF GENDERS.
In addition to being the first public reading of Gover's script, the event,slated for Sunday, Nov. 21 at 4 p.m., will be a showcase for local talent,including director and actor Van Farrier, and actors Jeannine Haas, JulieWaggoner and James Emery. The supporting cast includes Lesla Newman,Mary Vazquez and David Wolgin.
TO THE CHAPEL is a feature-length romantic comedy about a lesbian couple onthe verge of tying the knot -- and the man who comes between them. Thescreenplay was named a semi-finalist in the Massachusetts Film Officecompetition.
